In October, the Sakaeya Kimono Shop held a PEPY fundraising event in Omiya Japan. While the moon was unfortunately obscured by a raging typhoon, the event, "Wishing on the Moon for World Peace and Enjoying Live Traditional Music", was nonetheless a success. Participants from Australia, Germany, Armenia and Japan enjoyed a traditional tea ceremony as well as music from the group Botan, featuring the Japanese instruments of shamisen and koto. The event raised over $200 for The PEPY Ride, and more importantly promoted the PEPY message to an international audience. PEPY extends much appreciation to Kahori Ochi, who hosted the event at her family’s shop, and all those who generously donated. Arigatou Gozaimashita!
We, Sakaeya Kimono shop, will do have charity envets for community service. We belive this is our duty since we are becoming 50 years old at coming year.
Thanks letter from Tokyo Rape Crisis Cnter since we donated at the girls event
